Local Meet-ups and Chapters
IDEA is piloting local meet-ups and chapters for development economists. The first meet-ups were held in Lahore and Metro Manila in August 2026.

Career Development
IDEA will support development economists at every career stage, with particular focus on scholars in the Global South. The Career Skills Series is the first of these programmes to launch.

- Pipeline support from undergraduate through early career
